Bringing together local and international artists working across sculpture, sound, painting, text, performance and installation, Room Tone explores the relationships between acoustic phenomena and somatic and nervous states. The exhibition is the first iteration of The New Neurasthetics, an ongoing curatorial research project examining the contemporary resurgence of the nervous system as a cultural and somatic paradigm.
