Open Studio Visit with Aika Furukawa
Studio Tour · NeverAtHome
Join us for an informal Open Studio Visit with Aika Furukawa during her residency at NeverAtHome.
Visitors are warmly invited to stop by the studio, see works in progress and gain insight into her practice in an informal setting. The afternoon is conceived as an open format with drinks and snacks, where guests are welcome to arrive and leave at any time.
Have a look around and join the conversation.
Aika Furukawa (1982, Japan) works between Brussels, Tokyo and Leipzig. She explores the impermanence of everyday life through translucent linen paintings and site-specific installations. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at MAK Vienna, the National Art Center Tokyo and the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art, where her work is also held in the collection.
