HOT BOX ON AIR

A radio box in front of the radio house – a tribute to what once was there! For 30 hours, HOT BOX ON AIR pops up as a meeting point and broadcasting station. LIVE on site and ON AIR, a hybrid space is created with culinary interventions, workshops, discussions, and performances.

It's about coming together and thinking ahead together – about the sausage stand and about democracy, about hospitality and about the climate. In short: it's about the sausage!

The HOT BOX BUILDING was conceived as part of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024. Concept: Viennese Sausage Stand – An Experimental Setup – based on an idea by Clemens Bauder, friendship.is, and Letitia Lehner.
