A conversation on how design can contribute to wellbeing, inclusion and more caring ways of living. Part of Vienna Design Week.

Humainprojects brings together perspectives from design, health, research, craft, industry and media around a shared table. Rather than a conventional panel, the conversation unfolds over coffee — one of our most familiar everyday rituals, a moment to pause, meet, exchange and connect.

During the talk, guests will drink together from Humain, an inclusive coffee cup system developed with people living with rheumatoid arthritis, occupational therapists, designers and craftspeople. The object becomes part of the conversation: held, used and experienced, opening a discussion about how seemingly ordinary objects can influence autonomy, dignity, inclusion and wellbeing.
